Homeschool parent survival tips for people who want to spend 24 hours a day 7 days a week with their own kids and survive. Hilarious stories from homeschoolers.
So to everyone who isn’t home schooled and wants to get an idea of how smart we are, pleas look up classical conversations and see what. We do because I think it will change ur perspective… Just a bit.
@ pascbjumper2-I’m sorry homeschooling wasn’t a fit for you but please don’t say the rest of the homeschooling population has no social life. Just because you didn’t have one doesn’t mean the rest of us don’t. Thanks
Interesting that some people say that homeschoolers have almost no social life.
Really? My son is 8 and gets out more than most high school students I know. Of course, he isn’t bogged down with busy work (I’m sorry… homework) at the end of the day.
You know what’s weird? 13 years of my life spent with people only the exact same age as me. What other time in your life do you even DO that? Public schooling is a modern artificial society.
I see a few people in the comments don’t like home schooling all that much. I’ll say this; I went to public school up until fifth grade. After that, I absolutely had to get out of there. If I didn’t have homeschooling, I wouldn’t know what I would do. It all depends of your homeschooling program; If it’s restrictive, it probably won’t work all that well. If it lets you work at your own pace like mine does, it’s rather amazing.
I’d rather homeschool my kids…Everything I’ve learned I pretty much taught myself. 1 of my sisters taught me to read, I taught myself how to write and spell from that and I always read ahead in my math text books because the teachers were too slow…I even taught myself the basics of accounting from a book I had found in the library. besides, with 30+ kids in a classroom, how much time does the teacher really have to help each kid? Then with elementary and highschools right next to each other
@Tilikum123 for real it is like everyone wants someone to think for them, people have gotten so used to be told what to do they forgot how to think for themselves… sorry ramble…
I’ve been homeschooled all my life. Well, until now. I’m finally into a normal school, and it’s weird. I’ve met more people in a week then I have in the past four years. No joke. Home Schoolers (depending on how your parents to to homeschool you) have little no no social life. They tend to be smarted because their parents have full control of what they learn. In my case, precal with trig’ and college algebra in one year or Anatomy in middle school. Etc. But in the end, I say it’s wrecked my life
@TheDollhouseMuseum yes we definitely do not like to be linked together with the weird homeschoolers. Most people can’t tell that i am homeschooled and I like it that way. I’m more like a public schooled kid.
One thing I have learned from the multitudes of homeschoolers who have been through The Great American Dollhouse Museum is that they are NOT all of the same system of belief, approach or method…. and they don’t seem to like to be lumped in with all other homeschoolers in those ways. : )

yeah I’m homeschooled and I think I know the problem is with it 1)parents aren’t really thinking of the kid personally,think about it like this in their perspective 2)seeing the same person everyday 3)if one person angry everybody’s angry which can be dangerous 4)you can be teaching subject you hardly know about,it can be annoying 5)homeschoolers can turn really boring like this comment also shy… 6) you might make them lose the big picture

@Tilikum123 you would need at least one because you need one to think!

WTF
BORING!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@Tilikum123 You still need a homeschooler to do it with their minds, so technically it still takes 1.
@scarfifymadge yeah homeschooling does wonders…its epic…

@Tilikum123 YES! Finally, someone who actually thinks home schoolers are smart. Thanks!
@animesoultamer99 And what may I ask is the “big picture” in your opinion?

@vanillapie
why?
…… haha? :/
I wish the U.S. would outlaw homeschooling AND multi-level marketing.
